They certainly did BUT Theo who runs MacGenie told me it may be a problem with the phone not the battery and encouraged me to contact the retailer rather than pay him to fit a battery because it was within 12 month warranty.
I did so and 5 days later my phone was returned with a brand new battery on warranty - No charge
Theo could have just sold me a battery but he is a professional with years of experience and puts the customer first.
If you haven’t used MacGenie before and need an IT hardware or software issue looking at I strongly recommend you call Theo first !
Fantastic service and I now know where to go.

Incredible!! 3 March, 2021LIFE SAVERS. I’m the clumsy sort and dropped my MacBook Laptop down a staircase, needless to say it wouldn’t even turn on. I contacted Mac Genie in the desperate hope of getting it so I could turn it on to recover my work (yes I know I didn’t back up) and when it came back not only would it turn on, it had been physically repaired also. Great communication and service, would definitely recommend.
